Rev. Chris Everson
Lead Pastor

Rev. Christopher Everson has served in various ministry settings since he moved to Texas in 2000. He has served in the North Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church since 2001.

Before he answered his call to ministry, Chris taught music in the public schools in Wichita, KS for 4 years. Pastor Chris graduated with a Bachelor’s of Music Education from Friends University in Wichita, KS in 1995. He earned a Masters of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology at Southern Methodist University in 2005.

During his free time, Pastor Chris loves to watch baseball, play guitar, play golf and spend time outdoors. 

Chris is married to Tracy, the love of his life. They have three adult children (Deborah, Timothy, and Jacob) and one grandson (Samuel).
 
Tim Clark
Youth Pastor
Tim Clark is a native son of Rockwall, Texas. He graduated from Rockwall High School in 2010 and then from the University of Texas at Austin in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Religious Studies, before moving to Dallas to pursue a Masters of Divinity at Perkins School of Theology. He has worked previously at Project Transformation, Connect 2 the Kingdom, First UMC in Richardson, and as the worship leader for the summer at Bridgeport Camp. Tim is excited to join the staff at Royse City United Methodist Church, and he is especially looking forward to getting to know the students. When he isn’t at church, he enjoys playing guitar, drinking coffee with his friends, and being too busy to go to the gym. His father, Rev. Alan Clark, is an ordained deacon in the North Texas Conference and currently serves as the Minister of Music and the Arts at First UMC Rockwall. His parents live in Rockwall, and he has two older brothers
