SUNDAY SCHOOL
St. John’s Class
Led by Royce Davis follows the David Cook series of lessons. However the best part of our study experience is the participation and input from our class members! Our hope is that, if you visit, you will receive the same blessings that God is providing for all our class. New ideas and insights from new members will serve to enhance all of our study and worship experiences. We are looking forward to sharing and studying God’s word with you. Steward Memorial Class
Of all the adult classes in the church, this one is unique because it is named for a former member’s son who was killed WWII. This class is mostly made up of Baby Boomers who have children and grand-children, but all the members, no matter the age, are vibrant for the Lord and contribute greatly to our class discussions. Genesis Class
The Genesis Class is a relatively new class to our church that is led by Dean & Lori Gilkinson and meets in the Family Life Center. Our class members range from young adults to empty nesters to retirees. Our weekly lessons are scripture based topical studies.
Grace Seekers
This is an eclectic class of singles and couples, ranging in ages from 30 to 60. We have classmates that are new to our church and some really old-timers in the church. We welcome everyone! SMALL GROUP STUDIES
Pastor’s Scripture Study
This group meets each Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Steward Memorial Classroom in Wesley Hall. Everyone is welcome to come as we discuss the scripture for the upcoming Sunday sermon, and as we share, pray and grow together in Christian love and discipleship. This study is led by Rev. Ann Willet.
Women’s Bible Study
The women meet on Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. in the Steward Memorial Classroom in Wesley Hall. This group studies the Bible in a “What? So what? Now what?” fashion meaning. We read, discuss and apply what we learn to our daily lives. This study is led by Janell Motl.
Women’s Beth Moore Study
This group of ladies meet on Sundays at 4:30 in the Family Life Center. The 2011 fall study is focused on the life of David through Beth Moore’s book, Seeking a Heart Like His. For more information please contact Debbie Summers, Ouida Baley or Glenda Arnold.
Men’s Bible Study
Come join us Sunday nights 6:00pm at Texas Leadership Bank in Royse City to combine a little “guy time” and Bible Study. We dig into God’s Word, have a good discussion, eat snacks and end the night watching a good football game (or whatever is in season) on T.V.
