OUR MISSION at Royse City First United Methodist Church is to provide a Children’s Ministry to teach children about the LOVE of Jesus Christ. This ‘Ministry’ is offered in a warm and loving environment truly dedicated to making sure each child feels loved, appreciated, and special in the eyes of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our church offers a wide variety of exciting and dynamic Bible based programs specially designed to encourage and instruct the children in living out God’s message in their daily lives and to realize the Love and Salvation offered to each of us through Jesus Christ.

SUNDAY SCHOOL
Preschool Class
(ages 3-4 yrs)
Our loving and devoted teachers concentrate on favorite Bible stories taught in a fun and engaging manner. The curriculum is developed especially for this age group and incorporates play, music and art.
Crossroads Square
(K – 6th Grade)
Join us for Journeys with Jesus as we explore Bible stories and different aspects of our Christian faith. Children love our interactive classes where lessons are taught through hands-on learning with the same biblical principles taught for several weeks through different stations such as art, storytelling, cooking, video and more. Kids leave Crossroads talking about how much fun they had! But at the same time they were learning important Bible stories and principles they can live out on a daily basis.
JESUS AND ME (J.A.M.)
Our Wednesday night program has been a big part of the ministry of this church for many years. This casual, high-energy environment will 
get your kids excited about learning about God’s love for them. Valuable lessons are taught through a variety of activities including games, lessons and fun events. Join us each Wednesday 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm during the school year beginning with a supper (donations accepted) and then at 6:30 classes are provided for Preschool – 6th grade. Don’t miss this exciting time for food, fun, and fellowship as we learn of God’s LOVE!
CHILDREN’S CHOIR
Our Children’s Choir is an energetic group of Kindergarten-Fifth graders who love to make a joyful noise to God. The children play games, sing songs and learn about how much Jesus loves them. The Children’s Choir sings each Sunday morning (during the school year), as a great start to their Sunday School experience at 9:45 a.m. in Crossroads Square. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Royse City First United Methodist Church offers yearly Vacation Bible School (VBS) designed to teach the Christian Faith through themed-based Bible lessons, crafts, projects, skits, and songs designed to nurture and to provide the building blocks of Christianity in our children. This ministry builds faith, connects our children in the bond of God’s Love, and brings community awareness to those in need. Join us each summer and witness the faith growing among our youngest children. VBS is presented annually during the summer.
